2004 - One varsity letter. Played in 35 games as a freshman with 24 starts,mostly at second base but also saw duty at first base and shortstop. Got off to a fast start with 11 hits in first 25 at bats (.440) until sidelined by a sprained ankle in the second Clemson game. Finished at .235 (23-98), 5 doubles, 2 home runs. Committed only 1 error in 89 chances. Batted .250 (11-44) in fall intrasquad games with 4 doubles, 1 triple, 2 homers, 6 RBI. Better than 3.0 GPA both semesters 2003-04.
