2004 - One varsity letter. Played in 35 games as a freshman with 24
starts,mostly at second base but also saw duty at first base and shortstop. Got off to a fast start with 11 hits in first 25 at bats (.440) until sidelined by a sprained ankle in the second Clemson game. Finished at .235 (23-98), 5 doubles, 2 home runs. Committed only 1 error in 89 chances. Batted .250 (11-44) in fall intrasquad games with 4 doubles, 1 triple, 2 homers, 6 RBI. Better than 3.0 GPA both semesters 2003-04.
COLLEGE - Enrolled at Carolina in the fall of 2003.
HIGH SCHOOL - Played two seasons at Lake Highland Prep and three seasons at Apopka High School under Coach Sonny Wise ... Batted .461 with one homer at Apopka ... Played last summer with the Midland Redskins in the Connie Mack League with a .460 average, 18 homers.
